Lecture

The U.S. Consulate General in Edinburgh will open its doors for visitors as part of the Consulate’s ongoing “America250” campaign to mark 250 years of American independence. A special lecture will be delivered by historian Murray Pittock (Pre-booking is required with limited seating). Lecture at 11am only.

Facilities
Additional Access Information

Although the ground floor of the building is accessible via a wheelchair lift, the space being used for doors open day activities is not accessible. Visitors will be required to climb one flight of stairs during their visit.

Each visitor must provide valid photo ID for entry to the Consulate Building. Visitors will go through airport style security screening on entry.
