Tullibody Community Garden
Tullibody Community Garden is cultivated by volunteers, who gain valuable horticultural skills, as well as growing affordable fruit and vegetables to encourage local people to create fresh, healthy meals. The volunteers have brought a wide range of skills to the project; some had no vegetable gardening experience at all, while others have lots of experience as amateurs or professional gardeners. Many of them are unemployed and volunteering helps them in a number of ways, boosting confidence, getting them out of the house and keeping them physically active. It is also a great opportunity for everyone to make use of their own knowledge and skills.
There may be produce available for sale and volunteers will be happy to show visitors around the garden.
