Shakin Brig

The Shakin Brig (shaking bridge) is a pedestrian suspension bridge that crosses the River North Esk in the village of Edzell. The bridge was constructed around 1900. It is mainly constructed of wood with steel wires holding it in place and gets its name from the obvious shaking sensation felt when a pedestrian crosses it.
