This guide helps coordinators and heritage professionals to plan events and activities, to consider how to extend the reach of their EHDs to under-represented groups, populations or individuals and to welcome those not normally included as participants.
This guide details 20 top tips for making your venue more accessible for both in-person and online events. ‘Heritage Is Accessible! 20 Top Tips’ was prepared by Diana Kukharenko and Marianne Bell, as part of their placement with the Scottish Civic Trust for the ‘Methodology of Art with Work Placement’ Junior Honours course in the School of Culture and Creative Arts, University of Glasgow 2020-21.
