The present structure, with its mixture of old and modern stained glass, incorporates the early tower-base and nave, where the Romanesque doorway can be dated to 1187. One aisle was added in the 16th century, the other in the 19th century. The stairs are 17th century. Of great antiquity, the church bell may be the oldest in West Lothian.
