Home to Clydesdale and Clyde Amateur Rowing Clubs for over a century, this hidden gem is about to undergo a transformation. The West Boathouse project will repair and adapt this beautiful category B listed building to improve accessibility, upgrade facilities and provide flexible, multi-use spaces. The project also aims to change how the boathouse
is used and who it is used by – embracing new audiences and encouraging people to re-engage with the River Clyde.
Join us on a virtual tour of the West Boathouse at Glasgow Green for a last chance to catch this fascinating building in its ‘shabby chic’ phase. If that doesn’t float your boat, there are plenty of tall tales from rowers to keep you amused and entertained!Go on a virtual guided tour!
