"Portrait of a Town - Burntisland through the Ages”

Burntisland Heritage present an extensive illustrated exhibition which features the heritage trails within the town and the surrounding area. The exhibition comprises a variety of over 100 images displaying the town's rich built, social, industrial and natural heritage.

Burntisland Burgh Chambers

This building complex dates from 1843 and is a B Listed building. It stands prominently as a symbol of civic pride and a well-recognised landmark in the Town Centre. The original Council Chamber on the first floor is a beautiful historic room as well as the old Magistrates’ Room and Robing Room. The Chambers also houses a fine broad collection of 18th and 19th century art works relating to the town.

The Burgh Chambers and Guided Tour (subject to restrictions being lifted) will be open 1.00 to 4.00pm.
