The Ardshiel Hotel was once home to one of Campbeltown’s wealthy distilling families. It was designed and built in 1877 by prominent Victorian architect, John Burnet Senior, and over the past four years has been lovingly restored to its former glory – visitors can enjoy many of its original features and find out about its connections with the town’s distilling history. http://www.ardshiel.co.uk/
