This building used to be the Coach House for the Powis Estate. It contained the livery stable and was also the accommodation for the Coachman until the 1930s when the city council took over the estate. Since then has had many uses and in 2004 was taken over by the Masonic Lodge of Old Aberdeen No.164, who previously met in the Old Town House in the High Street Old Aberdeen.
