Over its 100-year history The Rowett has played a key role in shaping the health of the UK. From showing the health benefits of providing free milk to school children to underpinning the rationing system, The Rowett has always been at the forefront of nutrition research. In the new institute building the focus is now on understanding the molecular basis of human health.
