Carbeth is a collection of characterful, off-grid huts set within the designed landscape of the Carbeth Estate. The huts date back to the time of the First World War and some families still have huts there and have seen many generations enjoy visiting the area.
Very limited access only - due to rough and undulating ground.
Saturday 15th September: 1.00 – 2.30
Sunday 16th September: 1.00 – 2.30
Come along and take a tour of the Carbeth Estate and learn about the history, aims and ethos of the community.
Meet before 1.00pm at the Community Hut (take the access road immediately to the left of the old Carbeth Inn, first right and it’s the first building on the right) for a 1.00pm start. Good walking boots are essential and rainwear is an advisable option.
