Collegehill House takes its name from the Chapel being established as a collegiate Church and from around 1660 until 1866 it was The Old Rosslyn Inn and provided accommodation for worshippers.  It attracted many illustrious travellers in that time, including Robert Burns, James Boswell and William Wordsworth.  In 1866 it became a domestic residence and a holiday home in 2002.
