A Pugin and Son designed church in classical style constructed between 1852-1854. The church has over 20 stained-glass windows, a main alter and two side alters.? One of these is dedicated to Mary, Star of the Sea, the patron saint of Leith since the 12th century. There is also a lovely silver boat with Leith?s motto, and recently renovated paintings. In the middle of the church is a stone baptismal font made by Graciela Ainsworth, a local sculptress based in Leith.
Year Of Young People: The church has several community groups for youngsters, for example mother and toddler groups, brownies, as well as being a hub for social and community care for the good of all.
