Kirriemuir Camera Obscura - one of only four in Scotland - is housed in a purpose-designed turret room in the Barrie Pavilion on Kirrie Hill. It provides a fascinating glimpse into another era with striking views of the surrounding countryside.
Kirriemuir Camera Obscura was gifted to the town by the creator of Peter Pan along with the cricket pavilion in which it is situated in June 1930.
The pavilion is completely self funding and is managed and staffed by Kirriemuir Regeneration Group volunteers. Tea, coffee and snacks are available from the Cafe Obscura.
