Favourite Buildings Poll

Throughout September 2009 Doors Open Days has collaborated with Homecoming Scotland to celebrate and highlight the country’s rich built heritage.  As part of the programme we want to provoke greater interest in architecture and architectural heritage and an awareness of the influence the built environment has on many areas of life and living.

So, we have been asking some Scottish celebrities, councillors and politicians to tell us what their favourite Scottish building is... and why.  The replies are listed below and to find out who chose what and where it is, click on the names on the left.  Please note that the buildings chosen did not necessarily take part in Doors Open Days.
