Starting at the harbour light tower, now fully restored, the tour takes you round the historic village including access to St James's chapel ground and concludes at the Albert Hotel, where there is an information display on the light tower and the 'genius' of the Stevenson family in designing 96 other lighthouses in Scotland.
Boat trips are available from the pier throughout the afternoon.Meet at the Town Pier from 1.30pm onwards. R = at Albert Hotel.

Andrew Carnegie, a weaver's son, made his fortune in the American steel industry and became the greatest benefactor of his time.
Following a major upgrade, the museum covers the life and times of the famous entrepreneur and philanthropist, Andrew Carnegie, with new displays and state-of-the-art interpretation.

State of art sustainable architecture workshops by Edinburgh architects RMJM, built from renewable material and incorporating renewable energy systems. Ecospace encourages the integration of environmentally sustainable work practices such as waste reduction, re-use of materials and restoration.
Visitors will be welcomed with an introductory talk. Regular tours of Ecospace and other college departments throughout the day.
Enjoy a relaxed guided tour of the concert hall built to commerorate Dunfermline's greatest benefactor. Classical design by Muirhead & Rutherford, 1933-7, and refurbished after a major fire in 1980. Notable for its grand interior and Art Deco features.

Opened 24th March this year at a cost of £4.2 million, the new Dunfermline Fire Station is staffed 24/7 365 days a year with 80 fire fighters, Community Safety Staff and admin support.
The largest Fire Station in Fife it results from merging Rosyth and Dunfermline Fire Stations. The station provides emergency response cover from Kincardine to Aberdour in the east and Kelty on the border with Perth & Kinross.
