Ayrshire:  04 September 2010 – 05 September 2010

Doors Open Days in Ayrshire are organised by volunteers from the Kyle & Carrick Civic Society, with help from other voluntary groups.  Established in 1967, the Society campaigns to protect and improve the environment.  It has a particular interest in the conservation of historic buildings, protection of open space, the improvement of public transport and the encouragement of continued residential use of town centres.  Membership is open to all who support these aims.

In 2010 there will be 76 buildings taking part in Ayrshire's Doors Open Day - watch this space as details are added...
