For the 2018 Year of Young People, Doors Open Days are seeking an advisory board of young people aged 16-25 to help shape the planning, programming and marketing of our 2018 events.
Doors Open Days is Scotland’s largest free festival that celebrates heritage and the built environment. It offers free access to over a thousand venues across the country throughout September, every year. The aim of Doors Open Days is to ensure that Scotland’s built heritage, new and old, is made accessible to people living and visiting the country on weekends in September.
We’re asking young heritage, architecture and events enthusiasts to tell us what they would like to see in our 2018 programme and how they think we could achieve it. We will plan a number of meetings throughout the year with opportunities available for our panel to get actively involved in the programming, marketing and delivery of events.
If you’d like to be part of our advisory group of young people please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a short paragraph describing your interest in Doors Open Days and why you’d like to be part of a young person’s advisory. Please also include an example of a similar event or a marketing campaign which you think Doors Open Days could learn from, and explain why.
